This is a fantastic restaurant. The best Mexican food I have ever tasted! I have eaten in almost every Mexican restaurant in western Canada and a few in Mexico and Los Huesos is by far THE BEST I have ever tasted. They make their own salsa and guac dips FRESH ....RIGHT THEN AND THERE WHEN YOU ORDER IT ....they are AMAZING...

We found Los Huesos through Urban Spoon while visiting Vernon for its other hidden gem, Silverstar Ski Resort. The owners were super nice and attentive. The food was so good, some of the best Mexican north of the border. To top it all off, Wendy's (the better half of the ownership duo) brainchild - Los Huesos Deep Fried Ice Cream was nothing short of a ball of paradise in my mouth....

Coming from the US, I pine for great Mexican. This is some of the best I've had in Canada. I hope they continue to expand the menu. Would love some homemade tamales on the menu. |
